Helping You Build a Better Recruitment Process and Candidate Experience

Let’s face it—finding the right talent can be tough. From standing out to candidates to making sure your hiring process runs smoothly, there a lot of things to consider. I've worked in some form of Talent Acquisition for over 25 years. Over that time, I've spoken with thousands of candidates, read countless job descriptions, and reviewed more benefit summaries than I can count.
Over time, I learned that companies and candidates are often on parallel tracks. Each with clear ideas of what they are looking for from the other, but seldom are they clear and transparent about it. It feels closer to the ritual of car buying than that of meeting a new friend or colleague. It’s a dance where both sides reveal and hide information along the way rather than having a open conversation.
I’m going to introduce my thoughts, perspectives, and ideas here, hoping to start a discourse about how organizations can make simple changes to their processes and perspectives to attract more candidates to their jobs and ensure that they are a match for the goals and culture.
